Quirky Venues in London Where We’d LOVE to Film a Wedding (and Soon Will)

Choosing the perfect wedding venue is one of the most important parts of planning your ultimate wedding ceremony.

With over 10 years’ experience, we’ve had the opportunity to film occasions at some truly stunning venues – both throughout London and across the UK.

However…

There are, certain venues that have caught our eye.

Venues that we havent had the opportunity to film at. Yet.

From their stunning views, lush scenery, and breath-taking history, these venues would truly make for the ULTIMATE wedding day, unforgettable memories, and of course a wedding film so crisp and picture-perfect that any wedding videographer would almost certainly drool over.

So we just had to create this list.

Fancy having the first wedding we film at the London Eye, the Kensington Roof Gardens, or Kew Gardens?

Maybe you want to say your vows somewhere more unusual, like the Sea Life London Aquarium surrounded by underwater beauty, or in the Natural History Museum amongst the astonishing discoveries of the past.

Whatever the choice, these five amazing London spots would make great settings for your own wedding blockbuster movie.

London Eye

Situated on the bank of the River Thames, the London Eye is a world-renowned tourist attraction that provides far-reaching views of the beautiful city. Though the pods may be small, imagine an intimate ceremony where you take your vows 135 metres above the city skyline. It would certainly be memorable for everyone present!

The Eye offers two different wedding packages: Classic or Celebration. The Classic package includes flowers, an hour on the Eye, a civil ceremony officiant and a glass of champagne for all guests. The slightly upgraded Celebration package includes all this, plus canapes, bouquets and arrangements for your first wedding anniversary. All of this would make for an incredible wedding video, and we’d be honoured to film the occasion!

Capacity: Private capsules can fit up to 15 adults.

Price: Classic Package starts from £2,802.00; Celebration Package starts from £3,600.00.

The expansive grounds of the incredible Kew Gardens offer three venue choices for the botanical ceremony of your dreams. You can even arrange a package which includes multiple venues across the grounds! No matter the size of your wedding or how many guests you choose to invite, there is a venue a Kew that is perfect for you.

For a large wedding, the Orangery is the perfect venue. The Grade I listed stately building has amazing high ceilings and arched windows, with a view that you won’t find anywhere else. This stunning building will make for lovely photographs and film.

The Cottage fits up to 80 guests for a seated dinner ceremony, and up to 120 guests for a full evening celebration. Part of the Cottage opens up into the secluded and beautiful Duke’s Garden for outdoor photographs.
